A Day The Whole Family Can Enjoy!

The Kouts Porkfest is an annual arts, crafts, food, and entertainment festival held each year in downtown Kouts, IN at the end of summer. This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 23rd.

The first event of the day will be the 5K Walk/Run. Other activities include sales of arts, crafts, and food by approximately 100 vendors, an hour-long parade, and a kiddie tractor pull. The entertainment stage features line dancers, square dancers, singers, and bands.

Visitors are encouraged to participate in various contests, such as the "Guess the weight of the Pig" contest.

The Porkfest is organized by Kouts Festivals and Events, Inc., with cooperation of local businesses, churches, and citizens. Applications for Arts & Crafts and Food Vendors and Parade Entries are available for download on this website. Further information can be obtained by calling 219-766-0720.

Be a Porkfest Sponsor or Volunteer

Your sponsorship helps make this festival a reality. If you have not been a sponsor in the past, we would like you to consider becoming a sponsor this year.

This is a very exciting year for us. In past years the Porkfest was organized and run by the Kouts Chamber of Commerce. This year the community has formed Kouts Festivals and Events, Inc. and we will be responsible for organizing and commencement of Porkfest.

Sponsorships offset the cost of advertising, entertainment venue, hospitality tents, and many other needs in putting on a quality one-day festival. Your company is included in our day of event acknowledgements, print acknowledgements and radio. Your company name will also be mentioned throughout Porkfest over the public address system.

We would love to include you as a sponsor this year. We hope you will consider one or more of the options outlined below. Again, we hope that you will consider assisting us in this new endeavor and make this year's Porkfest one of the best years yet.

General Sponsorship: $50 and above. This sponsorship contribution will be used for the overall need of Porkfest and will include your company in the day of the festival. Please contact Suellen Boomer at 219-766-0720.

Event Sponsorship: This sponsorship contribution will be used for a specific project such as entertainment, rides, eating contest, etc. Your company will be included in all advertising and highlighted at the event location. Donation Sponsor: If your company can provide an item to be used for a drawing at Porkfest (e.g. overnight stay at a hotel, dinner package, gift certificate, etc.), we will be happy to accept this and mention your company in our advertising - or - we will accept monetary donations toward the purchase of gift cards, baskets, and other items that will be raffled off the day of the Fest.
